This new body of work is about gratitude and searching for connection. With history, with life, with the land and nature. It is about what is left after time has consumed, and the search for what will always be there. What remains.
All paintings are painted on scrap pieces of vellum and carefully held in place with linnen yarn against a cream museum board background.
Inspirations for this new body of work are: The Middle Ages,
Historic Monasteries, Albrecht Dürer, Book Illumination, Crafts,
European Forests & Gardens, Childhood, Nature.
